The ATA-ITSCON 2019 is designed to help clinicians to translate advances, evidence, and guidelines into patient care. Indian Thyroid Society (ITS):

The Indian Thyroid Society (ITS) founded in 2003, is the largest Asian Thyroid Society, with a vision to spread awareness regarding thyroid disorders among professionals and public. The objective of ITS is to enhance clinical skills of doctors and paramedics in the management of thyroid disorders, and to promote research. ITS has membership of over 2000 professionals comprising of Endocrinologists, basic scientists, Endocrine surgeons, Nuclear medicine Physicians, Radiologists, Pathologists, Epidemiologists and postdoctoral students. The mission of the ITS is to impart scientific knowledge to doctors/patients through conferences, seminars, meetings and discussions about thyroid disorders and to promote research in the field of thyroidology. The ITS publishes guidelines and journals (Thyroid Research and Practice) for circulation to members. The first National ITS Conference was held at Kochiin2005. Subsequently, annual meetings have been held at Lucknow, Udaipur, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Varanasi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Delhi from 2006 to 2017.
